Fitness Head · Summer 2027

Description

Lead the fitness program at a traditional sleepaway camp in Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator to apply leadership skills while guiding campers in a fun, active environment.

As the Fitness Head, you will oversee the fitness program area for campers aged 7 to 15 at a traditional sleepaway camp. This leadership role involves teaching athletic skills, promoting teamwork, and building campers’ self-confidence. You will be an energetic leader who contributes to all aspects of camp life, from activities to evening events. Like other activity specialists, you will live in a modern bunk with campers, helping create an inclusive and supportive community. Ideal candidates are positive, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children. Applicants should confirm the specific salary and any required certifications directly with Camp Starlight.
