Description
Ridge Haven's mountain campus near Brevard is opening Summer 2027 staff applications for counselors who run weeklong camps and retreats for thousands of guests. Teachers will recognize the discipleship, activity leadership, and daily camper supervision built into the counselor role.
Ridge Haven, a Christian camp and retreat center in the mountains near Brevard, North Carolina, hosts eleven week-long camps each summer for kids ages 8 to 18 and is preparing to open Summer 2027 staff applications later this fall. Camp Counselors invest in campers through discipleship, games, and leadership activities, working alongside an Operations Staff team and high-school-aged Camp Summer Interns to run each week smoothly. The position draws on the same supervision, lesson facilitation, and relationship-building skills used in a classroom, applied to an outdoor camp setting. Positions are open to rising high school juniors through post-college graduates. Because the formal 2027 application has not yet launched, interested candidates should check Ridge Haven's site regularly and confirm dates, pay, and requirements directly with the camp.
