Responsibilities: Support the implementation of curriculum through classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. Support co-teachers with the planning of individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, emotional and physical growth. Support the frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports & parent-teacher conferences. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Support co-teachers with ensuring a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards, and safety and security of children. Support the maintenance of accurate records, forms and files. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Support a positive teaching team, and a positive and welcoming environment for children and guests.
