The Environmental Operations department is looking for a motivated individual to join our team, and help us follow through on our dedication to preserving our unrivaled mountain environment. If you have an interest in sustainability and are looking for the chance to make a difference in our efforts toward Zero Waste to Landfill, this is a great opportunity for you. Responsibilities: Assisting in coordinating and the waste recycling and compost programs. Handling, sorting, and transporting large quantities of recyclable and compostable materials from the ski area operations to staging areas, and to the Eagle County Recycling Facility. Repairing, maintaining, and cleaning recycling receptacles throughout the year. Assisting departments with trash removal in all base areas. Maintaining guest facing recycling receptacles. Providing education regarding recycling programs and environmental initiatives to guests and employees on a regular basis. Assisting in implementing new environmental programs within the company.
