The opportunity

Teach middle school students in a summer academic program while receiving coaching from experienced educators.

Teaching Fellows plan and lead classes in subjects such as math, science, reading, and writing. Breakthrough pairs fellows with instructional coaches and provides training in lesson planning and classroom management. Early action applications are due January 14, 2027; the regular deadline is February 25, 2027. Confirm the summer work schedule and living allowance with Breakthrough before accepting an offer.
