Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026 · Terms of Service

1. Scope

This policy explains how Seasonly handles information when you browse jobs, create a seeker or employer account, apply, hire, communicate or pay for a listing or promotion. Seasonly is for adults 18 and older, not children. Do not use the service if you are under 18.

2. Information we collect

Account details include email, name, login credentials handled by our authentication provider, account type and the date and version of the policies you accepted. Seekers may provide location, education, work history, skills, certifications, availability, interests, optional screening answers and contact details. Employers may provide organization name, location, website, job descriptions, compensation, dates and other listing details. We also process applications, cover notes, hiring stages and messages between participants. Payment records include subscription status, amounts, billing periods and payment-provider references; card details are collected by Stripe, not stored in Seasonly’s database. Technical data needed to operate and protect the service may include device, browser, IP address, cookies or session information and service logs.

3. Optional resume assistance

When you select a resume file, its text is extracted in your browser. The file itself is not uploaded or stored as a resume by this flow. Only if you choose “Use AI to suggest my answers” is the extracted text sent to our AI processing service to suggest profile fields. AI suggestions can be wrong; you review and edit them before saving. Avoid including information you do not want processed. We do not use this feature to make automated hiring decisions.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and protect accounts; show and search jobs; enable applications and employer review; deliver in-site messages; manage subscriptions and billing; review listings and enforce rules; respond to support, safety and legal issues; and improve the reliability of the service. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage and performance. We do not sell your personal information to employers or data brokers.

5. Who sees information

Public job listings and organization details can be seen by visitors. An employer can see applications to its jobs and permitted applicant details; applicants and employers can see their shared conversation. Candidate contact details may be limited by the applicable access rules. Authorized Seasonly staff may access information to review listings, resolve abuse, provide support or comply with law. We share information with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including hosted authentication and storage, Stripe for payments, and the AI processing service only when you request resume suggestions. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not send your resume to Google News; visiting linked third-party sites subjects you to their own policies.

6. Cookies and security

We use authentication and session storage to keep you signed in and to protect your account. Infrastructure and payment providers may use their own necessary technologies. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.

7. Retention

We keep account, profile, application and message information while needed to operate the service and address legal, safety, billing or dispute obligations. Billing records may be retained as required by tax and accounting rules. We do not promise a fixed deletion period; backups and legally required records may persist after account closure. The optional resume file is not stored by the resume-assistance flow, although profile information you choose to save remains in your account.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update many profile and organization details in your account and choose not to use resume AI or optional profile fields. You may request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. Your location may give you additional privacy rights, including rights to know, correct, delete or object to certain processing. We will verify requests before acting on them. Account closure does not automatically cancel subscriptions; cancel each active subscription in the employer dashboard first.

9. International processing and changes

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, where privacy laws may differ. We may update this policy as the service changes; material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where practicable and a new effective date will appear here. For questions or privacy requests, use Seasonly’s contact details when they are made available. Read our Terms of Service for platform rules.
