YMCA Camp Wapsie is accepting applications for summer 2027. Open roles include senior and junior counselors, Aquatics Director, Day Camp Director, and Media & Communication Specialist. Senior counselors live alongside and guide a cabin of twelve campers, specializing in one age group and activity; junior counselors support a senior counselor and rotate through age groups. The camp says employees other than maintenance and cooks live on site. Program directors have a June 1–August 15 commitment; counselors are asked about availability June 5–August 15.
