The opportunity
Lead a 21-day backcountry orientation for high school students in the Lost Creek Wilderness.
Eagle Rock School is hiring field instructors for a 30-day summer contract. Instructors facilitate a 21-day backpacking orientation for 5–15 teenagers, teaching outdoor living skills, conflict mediation, and leadership. A current driver’s license, Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications are required. The school lists $5,000 for the contract, room and board during orientation and course wrap-up, and up to $300 reimbursement for round-trip travel to Estes Park.
