About the Role

Sand Valley, a golf resort with six courses on 12,000 acres of sand dunes in central Wisconsin, is hiring Golf Operations Interns for its 2027 season. Interns work alongside experienced PGA Professionals supporting daily operations, tournaments, retail and practice facilities.

This is a seasonal role running from mid-April through mid-October. Duties include welcoming guests and helping with golf itineraries, charging and tracking rounds, point-of-sale, retail and inventory, tagging and transporting golf bags, cleaning clubs, keeping the bag room organized, running the practice range (washing range balls, operating the ball picker, caring for the tee area), refilling on-course water stations, and helping prepare and run tournaments and outings. Sand Valley says the experience can count toward PGA Golf Management (PGM) internship requirements. Interns need flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays, and must be able to stand, walk and lift for long periods, including up to 50 pounds occasionally. An interest in a golf or hospitality career is preferred. Complimentary housing may be available, with priority for interns who can commit to six months and live 50+ miles from Sand Valley. Sand Valley participates in E-Verify.
