What it is
Anyone can say they teach. The Verified Teacher badge means a person on our team checked real evidence that you work at a school today. It appears next to your name wherever employers see you.
Why we have it
Seasonly is built for teachers. Camps, tutoring programs and resorts tell us they want educators, and the badge helps them find you faster and trust what they read.
Who qualifies
Current school employees: classroom and substitute teachers, special education staff and paraprofessionals, counselors, librarians and school coaches. You need a completed job seeker profile.
What counts as proof
- A link to your name on your school’s staff page (required)
- Your school email address
- School staff ID card
- Offer letter or contract for the current school year
- Pay stub with pay amounts blacked out
A staff page link is required. Everything else is optional but helps.
How long review takes
We review requests within 48 hours. You’ll see the decision on your badge page, and we’ll tell you what to resubmit if anything is missing.
What happens to your documents
Uploads are stored privately and only our review team can open them. Once you’re approved, we permanently delete them. Employers never see your documents.
For employers
What employers see
Employers see the Verified Teacher badge on a candidate’s profile and next to their name in the applicant list. They don’t see your school email, ID or any uploaded files, only that our team confirmed you’re a current teacher.
