World Languages Faculty Instructor (German) · Summer 2027

Description

Georgia's Governor's Honors Program is hiring a German instructor to lead an intensive summer immersion course for gifted high school students. It's an ideal fit for current world-language teachers wanting to design enrichment curriculum outside the typical classroom format.

The Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP), a four-week residential summer program for talented high school sophomores and juniors, is hiring a World Languages Faculty Instructor to teach German for the 2027 session. The instructor delivers daily immersion instruction and guides students through individual and group research projects, with curriculum intentionally designed to differ from a typical school-year classroom. The position pays a $5,000 stipend, and GHP is a state-funded, tuition-free residential program with room and board covered during the summer term. This role is a strong match for licensed world-language teachers who want to design advanced, project-based coursework for gifted students. Applicants should verify current openings, exact program location, and full compensation details directly with the Governor's Honors Program.
