Description
Lead outdoor day camp programming for Telluride Academy's youngest campers, ages 5–8, in the San Juan Mountains. Early-grade and preschool teachers will feel right at home planning playful, hands-on learning outdoors.
This role plans and runs age-appropriate games, creative projects and outdoor activities Monday through Thursday, with Fridays set aside for staff meetings, training and planning. You will build a warm group culture, teach Leave No Trace habits and follow the program's risk-management practices while keeping parents and co-instructors informed. Applicants need a valid driver's license, must pass background and driving checks, and should be comfortable lifting gear and helping with water activities.
